Woof! What a year! 2024 has gone by so fast. It felt like just yesterday we relocated back from Vancouver, Canada, and re-opened the door to our beloved CiaoMilton customers. Since mid-March this year, CiaoMilton returned online and officially started baking and shipping delicious treats and cakes by the end of March. It was a shaky start initially, and we are grateful to welcome back many returned customers. We cannot thank you enough for your continuous support, whether you are new to CiaoMilton or have been familiar with us since the beginning. We appreciate you trusting us to bake for your precious furry babies.
We want to share some highlights of the past 9 months and hope to see you again soon after the winter holiday.
The launch of the Guilty Pleasure Pupcake & Oversize Jelly Floral Pupcake. These are our first cupcake-size treats. They have been ordered as the main birthday cake, treats for pawty guests, and sent to birthday-dawg from distant loved ones. You can order the Carob choco bone and jelly flower as an extra topping for the standard celebration cake. We also advise always slicing the jelly before feeding, as many pups are unsure how to chew on the jelly. Are you wondering which one is the more popular choice of the two? The most popular cake design of the year: Ellie's cake! Ellie's third birthday cake is the most referred-to design of the year. The 4" celebration cake is topped with an extra large carob choco bar and decorated with an Ibili multipoint star nozzle with pink icing that goes diagonally across the cake through the number cookie that sits in front of it. We are proud of this creation and delighted that this cake has recruited many new customers for us.
CiaoMilton is going national! We have started to deliver to selected destinations outside of Amsterdam. You can now receive our cakes in Haarlem, Utrecht, Den Hague, Rotterdam, and the suburbs of Amsterdam. The delivery comes with a fee, and unfortunately, the gas price isn't cheap, but we are happy to have the opportunity to visit more pups outside of Amsterdam. Milton turned SEVEN! Now, this is a biggie for Mommy. I cannot believe how fast time flies. As a special treat, I made him an exclusive layered cake that contains all the healthy and delicious ingredients possible, including fresh pumpkin puree, steamed broccoli, hempseeds, yogurt, ribeye steak and chicken liver.
If you knew me, you'd know that I am an overly-worrying-dog-mom. I do everything
I can to ensure Milton stays youthful and healthy through a healthy diet, regular exercises and brain stimulation. A few weeks after his birthday, we did a complete panel blood work as a senior check. We are glad everything came back clean, and encourage everyone to start the full blood work early. This provides a baseline of where your pup stands when they are young and healthy and can be insightful information in case of any unwanted development.
Last but not least - The holiday announcement! This year, we are going to see snow early. There is no delivery between December 6th and January 5th. We regret not launching any Christmas special this year. Unfortunately, our big idea of launching a Christmas-themed ceramics creation did not go as planned. I hope to get there sooner rather than later. Stay tuned.
